SAMBICA, Seattle's premiere Christian Summer Camp, seeks energetic Christian individuals this summer. Serious candidates for summer positions must love Jesus, kids, and having fun! You will have the chance to invest in lives of children and youth. As a SAMBICA staffer, you will have many opportunities to share the Gospel and encourage children and youth in their relationship with Jesus. Staff in every position have the chance to impact many lives by sharing the love of God through their everyday actions.
You will be a part of a committed community of believers. SAMBICA staffers are believers from all over our nation and even the world who are devoted to reaching and raising up new generations in Christ. We strive to be united with one heart and purpose, and together progress through the journey of a summer of ministry. Through the challenges, struggles, and blessings, we depend on our sisters and brothers in Christ and often develop deep, fulfilling friendships that last for years to come.
You will have the opportunity to grow in your faith. Although your journey of faith will have ups and downs no matter where you are, during your summer of ministry at SAMBICA you will likely learn to depend more fully on the LORD through many challenges and blessings. You will also be able to seek God together with our staff through times of prayer and worship, Bible studies, and staff enrichment times.
You will have tons of fun! SAMBICA is located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest on the shores of Lake Sammamish. We are about 15 minutes from downtown Seattle and 30 minutes from SnoqualmiePass. SAMBICA is quite the urban setting. We are situated in the middle of a housing community (Strandvik) and a highly used road cuts through the middle of our property. The summers here are sunny and beautiful; giving us a great opportunity to provide our kids with many water activities, such as swimming, water trampoline, zip line, knee boarding, water skiing, kayaking, the blob, the icebrerg and wakeboarding.
